Today’s ‘First Time’ Angles (09/11/23 Qualifiers)

Both highlighted horses on the blog yesterday hit the frame… RICKETY GATE (3rd at 8/1) & MAGIC MIKE (2nd at 4/1)… based on the emails I received it appeared that plenty of you stuck them in an E/W double… so a tidy little profit for anyone that played them that way  😀

Today I’m posting the ‘1st Time Angles‘ qualifiers here on the free blog, like the LTOW’s and the Prime Condition Horses (PC), the 1st Time Angles also feature heavily in the NTF Members Stats Sheets (available most days of the week)…

Obvious there are some days that there are no qualifiers on one (or more) of the Stats Sheet sections, and I think it’s important for me to note that the Stats Sheet are NOT reels and reels of data that you need to pick through and figure out what the best plays are…

…in fact I’ve already done that work for you because the qualifiers on the NTF Stats Sheet come from my own mountain of Trends and Stats that I have meticulously picked through when building the Stats Sheets… producing what I consider to be the ‘best’ of my angles, systems, notes… for that given day…

So what have I picked off the NTF Stats Sheets for you today?

Well today I’ve gone for the ‘1st Time Angles’ qualifiers… and again, it’s pretty self-explanatory… what this section looks at are horses doing something for the first time, usually with Trainer Stats as the way in to support their chances…

The ‘1st Time Angles’ come in many shapes and forms… looking at angles such as… 1st run in a handicap, 1st run off a wind-op, 1st run for a new yard, 1st time wearing certain headgear… the coverage is wide ranging and again the qualifiers are taken from the mountain of trends and stats I have plugged in to various databases…

Another simple but highly effective method… but again, you do need to put plenty work in to uncover the angles in the first place…

But you don’t need to worry about finding the time… because I’ve already done the work and will continue to do the work going forward… tweaking and refining existing angles and deep data-digging for new ones to add to the pool…

Here are the ‘1st Time Angles’ qualifiers from the NTF Members Stats Sheet for today (Thursday 9th November)…

As I’ve said before on the posts…

Both might win… one might win… both could place… one might place… or… both could finish un-placed!

We’ve got to play the long game when it comes to punting on the horses, so with the smooth comes the rough…

The qualifiers I’ve posted on the free blog have done well this week so fingers crossed at least one of this two can keep that form going…

And remember… you get FULL access to the NTF Stats Sheets on the main NTF Members Service

Come see what NTF has to offer you>>>

The Stats Sheets are posted the evening before the next day’s racing, so plenty time for members to get stuck into the info provided 👍

Cheers – Ben (NTF)

…and I’ll leave you with another musical offering… from Washington’s favourite sons… NIRVANA… (doing a Bowie song)…

…interesting side note… I’m a HUGE Nirvana fan… I LOVE David Bowie… but the above isn’t actually my favourite version of the song… my favourite version is… LULU’s!!!

And I don’t know how I feel about that… it kind of messes with my brain… 🤯

  1. See what you mean about Lulu’s version, but a bit too polished for me. Kurt’s raw unplugged version does it for me.

    Cheers Ben

    Keep up the good work.

    • Hi Billy

Kurt’s version takes some beating… but damn that Lulu version keeps pulling me back in…

      Cheers – Ben (NTF)

  2. You’re right Ben, Lulu’s was the best by far. Still have the single from the 70’s in my loft…..along with my Slade and Gary Glitter,,,,,can I say those words 🙂 🙂

    • You should probably keep the Gary Glitter stuff hidden away in the loft Gary 😬

Dig out the Slade stuff and the Lulu single though 😎

      Ben (NTF)

    • Good to hear there are other people like me who flip from Nirvana to Lulu to Foreigner… 😄😄😄

      Cheers – Ben (NTF) 🎶🎶🎶

  3. I remember bein’ whatever the 70s equivalent of “Blown Away” was when I first saw Lulu in Razor- Sharp Suit & Panama Hat doin’ this Song.. Soz Kurt ~ Lulu Rules O.K.! ~

    • 😂😁 Kurt was a cool guy, I reckon he would also have been a massive fan of the Lulu version 🤘

      Cheers – Ben (NTF)
