2023 Ascot King George VI Day Tips & Analysis

I mentioned in my last post that this weekend’s King George VI Stakes at Ascot had the potential to be an absolute banger of a renewal, if most of the 15 still in at the 5-day stage held their ground… and boy did they hold their ground!

11 stood firm at the final decs and the 2023 King George VI looks one hell of a race for us racing fans to tuck into!

And, naturally, the King George VI is one of the races under analysis in the latest episode of ‘The Racing PodBlast‘… you can listen to that HERE and also via the player I’ve embedded below [just click the green play button or the download icon at the bottom right of the player]…

We also cover the Group 3 Valiant Stakes (2.25 Ascot) and the Class 2 International Stakes (3.00 Ascot) in this week’s PodBlast…

As mentioned in the Pod, you can find my International Stakes Race Trends below…

15 of the last 15 winners were aged 4 to 7 (13 of the last 15 aged 4 or 5)

15/15 had previously run at least once at Ascot

15/15 running off the same handicap mark or no more than 5 pounds higher than their last run

15/15 Days Since Last Run 7-42

I’ll be using a slightly larger set of Race Trends to get an even more accurate picture of the International Stakes when I pull together the full analysis guide for NTF members on Friday…

Let’s hope the King George VI delivers on it’s pre-race razzmatazz…

Glorious Goodwood 2023

…and once this weekend’s Ascot meeting is done and dusted I’ll be starting to get my ducks in a row for next weeks Glorious Goodwood action!

Well to be honest that work has already begun… I’ve been fitting it in between my normal racing workload… but once the Ascot action is securely tucked away in the form-book I’ll be sliding my Glorious Goodwood blinkers on full-time and I’ll be off down the twisting and turning rabbit hole, making sure I’ve got all bases covered and I’m ready to go to war for the 5-day festival on the Sussex Downs…

And like at Royal Ascot I’ll be opening up a limited number of places on the full NTF Members Service for those that want to hook up and receive all of the Glorious Goodwood analysis… so keep an eye on your inboxes over the next couple of days for the sign-up links…

The Glorious Goodwood doors are now OPEN!

Cut through the noise and let NTF do all the Glorious work for you>>>

If you are not yet on the free NTF mailing list, and to make sure you don’t miss out on anything I produce for Glorious Goodwood (either on the members side of things or any free coverage), then simply slide along to page on the following link and drop your best email in the box…

Make sure you don’t miss out on any of the Goodwood goodies>>>

[you can also get your hands on some free guides there as well]

Cheers and best of luck if you are playing at Ascot on King George VI day…
