Murphy is an interesting one on this score as his record in the top handicaps round the Goodwood bends (Class 2 Handicaps) could definitely be better… 7/75 | 9% S/R | -£24.96 BFLSP – 39% below exp… I wouldn’t discount any mounts he has in those Class 2 Handicaps, but for angle purposes I’m happy to look elsewhere…

The 7f figures are the most interesting, with the bottom half of the draw (Q1 & Q2) looking very strong and holding a healthy advantage over the top half of the draw, especially the top Quarter (Q4), with 73% of the 7f races being won by a horse breaking from the bottom half of the draw (Q1 & Q2)…
