  1. Jezki is a very powerful horse on deep soft Ground, but on Good? Thats my only doubt, if Soft its no doubt for me has stayers legs very powerful on front and back and gets through that ground. The ground is very important there i think…its can run good, but Soft would be way better…

    • My tent or Yours is an interesting horse there, the way it moved in Ascot on Good to Soft lets me think it will love the fast Cheltenham line up and it accelerates very fast then..The price is very fair

      • For the Neptune i think Bens stat for german bred speaks for itself, ive got a high quality picture of Pont Alexandre and this horse doesnt look to have any speed in its physics. I cant see him in an fast upanddown Cheltenham contest at all. Lay cries out for me there…

        • Thanks Ben, fantastic comments as always.

My thinking with Jezki is that he is ‘getting away’ with his jumping technique on the soft/heavy ground but it will be a very different ball game if it rides G/S or faster.

Query with MyTentOrYours would be will he appreciate the undulations and up hill finish? May be a flat track/speed track horse. Only a minor quibble at minute though…

A very intelligent answer for the Pont A/Ger stat. Always great to see someone putting their own theory and assessment behind it.

          Cheers – Ben (NTF)

          • After The Betfair Hurdle win im sure now My Tent or Yours will have a big chance in Cheltenham. It has these powerful back legs to scoot away quite strongly off a good pace…
